Welcome to the world of constructivism and at the same time, deconstructivism. This any other grotesk modular typeface offers a fresh approach to design, built entirely without curves, no Béziers needed. This presented a unique challenge in maintaining all necessary glyphs.
The story of this typeface began with a poster for a 2000 gig featuring legendary UK DJ and producer Carl Cox. The idea was to create a decorative grotesk with gaps, yet not a stencil. This eventually led to the development of a fully filled version, reflecting the laser-lit energy of house, techno party culture.
The result is a typeface collection with two families: one with gaps and the other without. The variable font file allows you to control the width of the gap.
